I am honored to partner with organizations, educators, and counselors who value financial literacy as a cornerstone of long-term life impact. My work is rooted in the belief that money is never just about math—it fundamentally shapes our career decisions, our relationships, and our overall life direction.

Direct Impact: Tinker Air Force Base

Since July 2025, I have had the privilege to walk alongside awesome facilitators and coaches to teach Financial Peace University (FPU) for service members and government workers at Tinker AFB. Over the past year, this partnership with the Tinker Chaplain Corps religious education program has empowered 353 families to take command of their futures.

The collective results are a testament to their discipline and hard work:

Beyond the military community, I collaborate with Counselors and Career Counselors at Cuyamaca College. Together, we bridge the gap between financial health and academic success, helping students align their financial decisions with their evolving career pathways.

Working with Jeanette through Financial Peace University has been nothing short of life-changing.  I came into my free one-on-one consultation feeling anxious about my future.  At 66 years old, after 37 years with the same organization, I wanted to retire but couldn’t bring myself to set a date.  I simply didn’t know what retirement would look like for me, and that uncertainty kept me stuck and working.

Jeanette changed that.

During our session, she walked me through my finances with clarity, patience, and genuine care.  She uncovered things I didn’t know about my own situation.  She showed me a realistic plan to pay off my vehicle in just 13 months, and I had written off vacations during retirement, but she proved otherwise.

She also helped me see that I could make needed house repairs now, using the income I already have saved.  It felt like someone finally turned the lights on in a room I’d been stumbling through for years.

Some of you may remember Tom Cruise shouting “Show Me the Money!” In Jerry Maguire.  Well Jeanette showed me the money - and more importantly, she showed me the future I can look forward to.

For the first time, I feel confident about retiring.  Confident enough that I’ve set a hard retirement date: 2 years, 4 months, 2 weeks, and 2 days from now, I will officially be a retiree.
